24-hour access to EAP servicesAll EAP services are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week through the Saint Barnabas Employee Assistance Program Access Center which is staffed by a mental health and substance abuse team trained in emergency services.

The Access Center staff provides information and referral, rapid assessment and disposition planning, crisis intervention, hospital diversion services and screening for hospitalization. The 24 - hour triage services are based on the principles of availability, rapid response, immediate referral and treatment in the least restrictive, and most clinically appropriate setting.
